The second song in Call To The Feast from A Feast Of Crows.
October 1 2017, Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd of concertgoers at Route 91 Harvest music festival from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel, killing 58 people and leaving 851 injured. Two good friends of mine were living around there and one of them was actually in the concert. Fortunately they didn't get shot, but they were both very much shocked and that influenced me, therefore I decided to write a song about that. Also I wanted to talk about the international issues but not only about gun shooting since I personally don't consider that as an individual issue. The name of the song is actually a quote from Neville Chamberlain, British former Prime Minister during WWII, who was famous of Appeasement. A Feast Of Crows首张专辑Call To The Feast中的第二首歌(主打?)。 |
